MERGE IS . . .

A camp providing the opportunity for students to live our their faith through service. Merge is a partnership of the City of Toccoa, the Tugalo Baptist Association, and the Georgia Baptist Youth Ministries Department.

• WORSHIP: Worship - Service

  At Merge, students learn the truth that Worship is more than a meeting. It actually is SERVICE! In the Worship Sessions, students are taught the priciples of a missional lifestyle. Anson McMahon is a dynamic communicator who will give students the equipment needed to take the MISSION back home from MERGE! Through worship leadership, the Jeremy Curtis Band will reinforce that authentic worship feeds an authentic lifestyle which fuels ministry to your community back home. Morning Devotions and Evening Worship bookend our day of service!

• MISSIONS: Doing - Service

Like every other city, Toccoa, Georgia is full of people and families who have practical needs. From July 18-24, the practical needs of Toccoa area citizens become OUR MISSION at MERGE! The city of Toccoa and its local churches create a range of opportunities for MERGE students to meet people's needs. The range of opportunities includes block parties, repairing homes, leading programming at Boys and Girls clubs, roofing houses, neighborhood Bible clubs, area clean-ups, landscaping, and lots and lots of painting. If your group has a special skill, we will find a way to use your talents to bless the people of Toccoa. Daily Mission Projects give MERGE students the FREEDOM to demonstrate that Worship IS Service!

As MERGE Students mix with the Ministry Teams from churches in Toccoa, they have life-changing experiences because they are DOING MINISTRY together! There is no better FELLOWSHIP in the world than having your life changed by changing the lives of others for the Kingdom of God!
